The EMPOWERMENT AND WOMEN’S IDENTITY
AN ANALYSIS OF NARRATIVES OF LAW GRADUATED WOMEN
Abstract
In the work developed, we were concerned with the following question: how (and if) does the Law course contribute to the empowerment and female identity resignification? For this, we outline as general objective: to identify if and how the Law course is a propellant for the empowerment and woman's identity resignification; and as specific objectives: to know how the formation course took place of these operators in the Law area; to compare the narratives of graduates between the 70's and 2000's, in order to verify if what the literature describes about empowerment reflects in the participants' discourse; to report narratives that make up the stories, subjectivities and memories of these women; to reflect about difficulties, confrontations and/or other biases that may have enabled a transformation. Thus, we will use narrative research, with exploratory objectives, with qualitative approach, semi-structured interview collection procedure, and discursive textual analysis. The results obtained in this work demonstrate that the Law professional workers career is marked by imposed challenges by the society due to their gender identity, as well as the arguments, which can compose a theoretical framework, in the art state, and studies on women's space in society.Attribution License that allows the sharing of the manuscript with acknowledgment of authorship and initial publication in this magazine.
